Welcome to the Sports Card Album Blog!

We finally have a blog!!! This may not sound like a big deal to you, but I have been wanting a Sports Card Album blog for a really long time, mainly so we can share all the new features and updates we are doing on the website (and apps.) We have been mentioning our progress via traditional social media outlets like Twitter and Facebook, but relying solely on those to get the word out is pretty dumb for a couple of reasons:

  1. Not everyone is on Twitter & Facebook
  2. The people that are on Twitter & Facebook aren’t online 24 hrs a day
  3. It is virtually impossible for people to search through all our old tweets to see if/when we announced something (hard to see archives)

This blog is the solution to all of these dilemmas and a whole lot more. This blog will provide us with a better platform for our giveaways, it will allow us to bring you special (unique) content, and will allow us to share our thoughts (and progress) with you in a way that is easy to navigate and search.

We encourage you to sign up for our mailing list (in the right sidebar) so you are notified when we launch our updates. We look forward to sharing a lot more with you in the days to come and thanks for all of your support!

    I am very happy to be a part of this great website..look forward to making some deals for cards (KC Chiefs) That i PC mainly De’Anthony Thomas and Jamaal Charles..But things have been slow..not many replies to inquiries..Nice Website so far..and looking forward to adding more cards..also looking forward to any future updates.

      Thanks so much, Rodney! As for the communications on the website, that will all pick up pretty soon when we add a “notifications” section. Notifications will be available on the iPhone app at the next update, but we are also working on adding notifications to the main website so members can see (in real-time) when other people comment or like your cards or send you a message. Right now we have no way of knowing when people comment on our cards or like them, so it kinda stifles the two-way communication. We will definitely post any updates to this feature on the new blog :-)

      Hahaha….we PROMISE it is in the works. Believe me, as much as you want it, we want it ten times more! Just taking a lot more time and money than we ever could have imagined.

    I love the site, no fees, easy to use, just wish I had more time to upload more cards. I remember when Sergio had mentioned that he was working on something big for the hobby, then I saw it and it was great…he wasn’t sure how or if it would take off, and wow did it ever..it is great, the time, the $$$ he spent on it was well worth it….keep up the good work, you and all your behind the scenes designers and I.T. personnel have done an amazing job.

  22. Love the idea of a blog; I know I miss tweets pretty regularly, just b/c my Twitter feed is such a jumbled mess most of the time! (Not too late for the giveaway, am I? :-D)
